## W4_SSD_Installation of Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic

1. Problem Recognition, Definition and Evaluation

With increasing electricity rate, I am planning to install a photovoltaic solar panels system on my house. I want to investigate which PV arrangement will provide me with a good investment. For that I use the tool mentioned in Engineering Economy Engineering Book, chapter 5, Introducing Concept of Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), page 178-211,

The electricity price increases is shown at Figure 1.

## W3_SSD_ Contingency Cost Determination in Transformer Installation Project

Contingency Cost Determination in Transformer Installation Project

1. Problem Recognition, Definition and Evaluation

To increase its capacity, a new 33MVA 132/22kV transformer needs to be installed at Blackberry Substation. This project includes installation of a new transformer circuit, transformer and a 22kV switchboard in a new switchroom. Also included in this project is installation of all required protection relays, communication and SCADA works. This project does not include installation of 22kV feeders from the new switchboard to the distribution network.

The project was estimated using combination of bottom up method and stochastic method. The estimate is \$6,265,000. Total budget for this project is consist of project base estimate, project cost contingency and management reserve. The cost contingency and management reserve is calculated based on project risk assessment.

## W1_SSD_ Tuckman Assessment

After five days face to face training, now we are in the next stage of the Integrated Portfolio (Asset), Program (Operations) and Project Management Methodology Course, which is the distance learning phase. During the face to face session, we have been asked to develop a project team. The project team’s name is Simatupang AACE 2014. The project’s objectives are the ability of the team members to pass AACE Certification test in the first attempt, and provide return on the training investment. The achievement of the project objectives is expected to be the reflection on the project team performance on delivering project’s deliveries.

PROBLEM DEFINITION

A group of people is change and get matured over time. In 1965 Bruce Tuckman introduced his model on group maturity phases. Tuckman’s model shows that a group of people is getting matured by following 4 phases of progression, which are:
